Zelda DS Lite Blue & White Mod

Remember THIS post way back in May 2007? Quite a few people lamented about the lack of such mod anymore in the market. Well, if you are still interested there is another mod alike this one currently on sale in E-Bay HERE

For those that are located locally or not in Australia, you would have to make do with the plain old game only. You can Pre-Order the game now but I am not sure if it will still be available. You might have to wait for the 2nd batch. or the third if you are unlucky.
Me? I am gonna sit tight and wait for some guy to sell his copy. What with the amount of people buying this game, there is bound to be one or 2 second hand copy out for cheap in a month or so :D

Touch Pen Knock Metal (The Legend of Zelda)

After putting it on Pre-Order for the past month, they FINALLY released a picture of the Touch Pen Knock Metal (The Legend of Zelda) together with the price. It comes with two stylus designed differently. The stylus does not look metal to me though. Does it?

Gameboy Advance SP Keychain Type

I made an order for the Gameboy Advance SP Keychain Type: Famicom + Super Mario Bros. There are 5 type of this keychain available. Each with different cartridge of games ranging from the classic Ice Climber all the way to The Legend of Zelda. all 5 of the design also features different GBA SP available. I particularly likedc the Famicom GBA so I got the Super Mario Bros version. But apparently there are 2 particular Famicon version of GBA available.

Zelda: Minish Cap

Well what do you know, my wish was granted! Two month ago, I made a post about the Zelda Minish Cap figurine, complaining about the lack of stock for that particular model. ( read it HERE )

Two months down the road, and The Legend of Zelda Minish Cap Figure Gashapon walla! its available again!

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass US Box Art

That would be the possible boxart for the upcoming Zelda Phantom Hourglass DS. Its a bit less kiddish then the Japanese version but boy, I love the brown background with a huge dark looming ship. Makes the game looks a bit darker and mysterious doesn't it?

The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass will be out on the 1st of October 2007.

I have already left the game in my shopping cart at Play-Asia. How about you?

Call your self a fan of Zelda?

No self respecting Self portrayed Zelda Fan would be caught dead without a Zelda item somewhere on their body. I would really ( really ) like to get one of this


But the said item was sold out 2 years ago around 2005. So meh.. I guess I will make do with either a

Touch Pen Knock Metal (The Legend of Zelda) from Tomy

or

The Legend of Zelda Fabric Case (green) from Sanei

or

The Legend of Zelda Fabric Case (blue) from Sanei

I have no idea how those looks but meh. Anything Zeldish would do well in my dictionary
I do hope they will make a keychain or phone strap thingy of Zelda again. Those on top really really look nice..

For those that have been too out of touch with gaming world, a The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass english version is expected to be out by August this year. Currently the japanese version called er... The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is already out in the market. I would suggest waiting for the english version if you can't really read japanese as Zelda games can be categorized under ARPG which means it involves puzzle solving and some reading.

DS Lite Legend Of Zelda Mod

This baby puts any other mod to shame. I ain't kidding man. Custom made by freakf-ingtastik ( quite a mouthful ain't it?), the fellow airbrushed an Onyx Black DS Lite console in an 18 step process with a Gold Zelda like paint which resulted in a brilliant two-tone color. To complement the DS Lite, The custom charger stand was also airbrushed with an 18 step process! ( Thats a HUGE amount of work)

For the metal die cast shield crest, it is originally a Dark Gunmetal color. Sandpaper was used to removed the dark gray coating, exposing the metal beneath while leaving the edge in the original form giving it a high level of depth with details ( I had no idea what that means, quoted from his site but damn it looks nice!)

The metal crest is also backlit by a white LED, casting a gorgeous light against it. Whats cooler, the back light will only activate when its charging! No harm done to your battery playing time and you can finally charge in STYLE. Oh by the way, the crest can be rotated. Talk about coolness
